Terrell Thomas cleared for training camp

New York Giants cornerback Terrell Thomas announced on his official website that he’s been cleared for training camp after recovering from a torn ACL that he suffered during the preseason last year.

“I just left the doctor’s office; I am all cleared for camp,” wrote Thomas.  ”I have no limitations entering camp; obviously they will be monitoring me throughout camp.  It will be in the hands of Ronnie Barnes who has been protecting me thus far.  I just want to thank the Giants organization, Dr. Arthur Ting, John Meyer, my agent, my family and everyone who got me to this point.”

This is great news for the Giants and Thomas.  He might be one of the most underrated corners in the NFL after putting together a great 2010 season.
