New York Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora confirmed that the contract offer that he ended up accepting was the one that’s been offered to him all along. He also said the Giants presented him with some multi-year offers, but he decided to go with the one-year deal instead.
Umenyiora is clearly looking to get “paid” at the end of this season when he becomes a free agent. Whatever the Giants were offering him, likely wasn’t even close to what he’s looking for in a long-term deal.
