Jayron Hosley ready to go for the opener

New York Giants rookie cornerback Jayron Hosley is all set to go for Wednesday’s season opener against the Cowboys.

“Jayron Hosley (turf toe) was a full participant at practice today and will also be in uniform come Sunday,” wrote Jorge Castillo of the Newark Star-Ledger.

“No problems, no problems at all,” the rookie cornerback said. “Everything’s good. No setbacks, full steam ahead from here. I’m feeling good.”

“Hosley confirmed he’ll be the Giants’ nickel cornerback and expects plenty of snaps there. The last time he was at nickel back was also his last play of the preseason – a 77-yard interception return for a touchdown,” Castillo wrote.

As a rookie, Hosley is already an important piece to the Giants secondary with him coming in and being their nickel corner. They need him to ready to go and it looks like he will be.
